Design

Marketing sites built to convert and to rank

Design and SEO get treated as separate disciplines, which is how sites end up beautiful and invisible. Several of the decisions that determine whether you rank are made during design, not after it.

  • A page system, not five bespoke layouts

  • Core Web Vitals budgeted during design

  • Built for a CMS from the start

What you get

  • Hero variants for different page intents

  • Feature, proof, and testimonial sections

  • Pricing tables and comparison layouts

  • FAQ and CTA sections

  • Blog and article templates

  • Responsive behaviour documented per section

  • Sections modelled as CMS content types

Design decisions that affect ranking

These are all made at design time, and all expensive to retrofit afterwards:

  • Heading structure. One h1 and meaningful h2s. A design where every section title is a styled div gives crawlers nothing to work with.

  • Image weight. A 4MB hero costs you Largest Contentful Paint, which costs you rankings. Decide the budget before designing the hero.

  • Above-the-fold text. A full-bleed image with the headline baked into it has no content to index.

  • Internal linking surfaces. Footers and related-content blocks are design decisions with direct SEO consequences.

Design the system, not the pages

Ask for a set of reusable sections rather than five bespoke page designs. It costs the same for the first page and almost nothing for the fifth.

That difference is what makes a content strategy executable. If a new landing page needs a designer you will publish four a year. If it can be assembled from documented sections you will publish forty — and that volume is where organic growth actually comes from.
