The problem

Selling a company you built is an emotional decision before it is a financial one, and the acquisition category reads accordingly — anonymous funds, stock photography, language that makes founders feel like inventory.

Dylan and Helen's advantage was that they are two identifiable people with a track record: a business they grew past $30M in revenue in three years, and Forbes 30 Under 30 recognition. None of that came across in a way a nervous founder would find reassuring.

What we did

Put the people first

Named founders, real photography, and bios that lead with what they've operated rather than what they've bought. A founder is choosing who to hand the company to, so the site is built around who they are.

Published the criteria

Minimum profit, years trading, margin profile, team quality — stated plainly on the page. Self-qualification means fewer wasted calls on both sides, and being specific reads as more honest than an open invitation.

Made the promises concrete

Fair, Fast, Forward became three commitments with numbers attached: a reply in 48 hours, a free valuation in 7 days, a deal closed in 90 days or less. Specific commitments are what separate a credible buyer from a form.

Designing for one anxious reader

Most B2B sites are written for a committee. This one is written for a single person, late at night, wondering whether to reply to an approach — so every section answers a question that reader is already asking.

The contact form asks for revenue and profit up front. That's a big ask on a first interaction, and it works here because everything above it has already earned the right to ask.

The outcome

A site that reads like the two people behind it rather than like a fund, with the qualification criteria doing the filtering that a sales team would otherwise do by hand.
